Product Review: Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips

The colder days are coming and  with this type of weather, chapped lips are very common. I always tell people to religiously put balm on their lips cause it really does wonders. Girls, it's important to protect and take care of this particular body part. Why?

1. It's easier to apply lip products with smooth and crack-free lips. Plus, it looks healthier too!
2. It avoids dead skin cell build up.
3. It's more hygienic and pleasant to the eyes.

One of the most common, affordable and effective product you can use is PETROLEUM JELLY. A lot of people swear by this product cause it really keeps your lips smooth with regular use. But I find the regular one quite boring. That's why when I found this particular kind of petroleum jelly, I knew I had to buy it.

Brand: Vaseline Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly in Rosy Lips
Price: €1.50 (Around Php80++)
Location: Penneys Ireland

It's very similar to C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve's color and packaging (a more affordable version). I have to say, it really makes my lips softer, also adding a tinge of color. I love the texture that's not too thick for the lips.

The rose and almond oil is evident but not overpowering. The small canister contains 20g of the product, which is A LOT. I have been using this for 7 month already but I have only consumed 1/3. SULIT!

Unfortunately, this is not available locally. However, there are other Vaseline lip products that are being sold in the market. I believe they come in tube form.

PROs:
1. Softens my lips
2. Provides sheer rosy color
3 Contains a lot of product
4. The light rosy scent is lovely
5. Feels light to wear
6. Will endure all types of weather
7. Affordable

CONs:
1. The packaging is not hygienic
2. Not locally available

I stopped using my well-loved lip balm when I found this. If only it's available locally, I could use this forever.

Always, always and always find time to keep your lips hydrated and moisturized  It will just take you 2 swipes to save it from cracking. ;)

What do you think of lip balms? How do you take care of your lips? :)
