Maquillage Professionel Class: Days 6, 7 & 8

Hello dearies! Let me just give you a quick preview of my days 6, 7 and 8 in makeup school. I have already learned so much and I can't wait to share it with you. :)

Day 6: Smokey Eye Makeup

I learned that the classic smokey eye look should only use one color. And with that color, you will try to create a fading effect (just like a smoke) from your lids to your crease. When doing this look, it's best to arm yourself with a clean quality blending brush.

For my hands-on, I decided to use green. To make it more vibrant, I used flash colors before setting it with the eye shadow powder. Again, the key to this look is blending. :)

Day 7: Black and White Photography Makeup

This time, we were introduced to photography makeup. But this one is a but tricky cause it's for black and white photography. It's more important to emphasize the intensity rather than the color combination because it will show as black or white anyway.

Since Ai has deep set eyes, I decided to do an Adele inspired makeup rather than a smokey black look. Also, it would look good and classic on black and white photography.

To check if it can pass for photography, we had a mini photoshoot. Grilling time!!! Ms. Yuki literally zoomed the photos to check the refinement of details. Whew!

She looks like a Hollywood star doesn't she?

The obligatory Bar Dolci treat :)

Day 8: Colored Photography Makeup

Our teacher allowed us to experiment for this session. Sir Mio encouraged us to use vibrant colors to look more striking on camera. However, he emphasized that it has to still look beautiful.

To make it more consistent, I asked Ai to model again for me. Hihi. I decided to use A LOT of vibrant colors.

It's just weird that it looks yellow-ish on screen. But I really like the overall look. :)

So that ends my quick post. I'm so excited to share with you my recent looks as well. And yes, I am finally graduating makeup school this Saturday!!! I can't wait! :)

What do you think of the looks I did?
