Makeup Tutorial: Sultry Valentine's Day Look

Hello everyone! I'm back for quick post that I'm sure will be handy tomorrow or in the next few days. We all know that tomorrow is a special day that most if not all of us look forward to. Anyway, this look is not only for the attached ladies, it's actually daring that even single ladies can wear. But don't fret cause this is super easy to do.

This is a long overdue tutorial that was supposed to be published last Christmas season but I figured that ladies can still rock this look on Valentine's. Let's proceed!

STEP 1: As usual, don't forget to put your favorite eye primer. Apply 'Hustle' from Naked Palette on your lids by tapping it to ensure that color is deposited well. You can use any taupe eyeshadow for this look. Don't go beyond the crease for a more natural look.

STEP 2: Using a clean blending brush, blend the edges of the shadow to create that 'smokey' or fading effect. We don't want to see where the eye shadow stops. :)

STEP 3: Apply the remaining shadow on your brush to your lower lash line.

STEP 4: With black kohl pencil, line your tight line and your waterline to make your eyes pop and look more awake.

STEP 5: Apply 'Virgin' or your favorite highlighter to your brow bone, inner lid and lower lash line. It's important that you highlight these parts to add more dimension to the look.

STEP 6: Next, it's time to do your favorite wing liner to add that instant oomph to your eyes. Wing liners are sexy, agree? Check my easy eye lining tutorial here! :)

STEP 7: Finally, curl those lashes and apply your lengthening or volumizing mascara. I used Maybelline's Falsies to get the best of both worlds. You can opt to use false eyelashes. Since we want it sultry but nothing too over the top, I recommend that you don't use one. ;)

Finish the look with your favorite plum lipstick. I've been going crazy over my new plum lipstick, which is MAC Rebel. I just love how sexy it looks. It's time to show off your daring side and go for a dark lip color. You can wear this look with you hair up or down. :)
