Quick Product Review: Plum Affair

Summer has ended and the rainy season has just begun. Time to bring out dark and strong lippies appropriate for the climate. I have been crazy for plums lately thus the title.

I just recently discovered the beauty of this color that's why I only have 2 to show you. One is quite affordable and the other one is a bit pricey. Like I said, I am a lipstick junkie. So if I like a particular color, I try to find different shades of it.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Plum Proper

Price: Php 300

This particular line of lipstick from Maybelline is a hit! It's creamy yet still pigmented. I got this from a stall in a bazaar that sells makeup from the US .Plum Proper leans towards warmer tones. This plum shade is great for daily use since it's not as bold as other plum lipsticks.

MAC Satin Lipstick in Rebel

And lastly, my favorite plum/berry lipstick, MAC Rebel. Rebel is probably one of MAC's famous lipstick shades. Because it has blue undertones, it can suit all skin colors. Though this has satin finish, color pay-off is amazing. Also, you can layer it to get different intensities.

 I love that both lipsticks are hydrating and pigmented. I guess I'll be using it more often this time. Now, I wanna hunt a matte plum lipstick. Have you found one?
