Product Review: Benefit Cosmetics Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation

Have you found your everyday liquid foundation cause I just found mine. Actually, I don't normally wear foundation daily because as much as possible, I want my skin to breathe. But for days that I need extra coverage (hello PMS), I reach for my Benefit Cosmetics Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation in Toasted Beige. I am a lucky girl cause I got it for almost half the price during the Benefit Cosmetics sale in their Greenbelt 5 branch.

Benefit Cosmetics 'Hello Flawless' Oxygen Wow in "Warm Me Up"/Toasted Beige
Price: Php 1,950.00 (I got it on sale and cost me Php 995.00)
Where to buy: Benefit Cosmetics store and counters
A bottle will give you 30.0ml of product, the average amount you get for a high end foundation. It has a pressure pump, which I love because you can make the most out of the product in the bottle. One pump is actually enough for me but this will depend on the coverage that you want.

It claims to be oil-free that's why the formula is quite runny but the pigmentation is not compromised. The SPF 25 is a plus making it really ideal for everyday use. Since this is a brightening foundation, the yellow undertone is very obvious, which again is a plus for us Asians. :)

Hello Flawless has a sheer to medium coverage that's still build-able. Because of the very wet formula, I suggest that you let the first layer settle first before applying another one. As you can see, it did covered spots and redness (but not the zit on my forehead), and made my skin look brighter.

PROs:
1. Convenient packaging
2. Oil-free and hydrating
3. SPF 25 ++ (no need to apply your sunblock)
4. Yellow Undertone that brightens the skin and
5. Build-able coverage
6. Feels lightweight on the skin
7. No foul smell
8. Locally available

CONs:
1. Expensive
2. Very wet formula that tends to slide if not set properly
3. Not really ideal for summer or when the humidity is really high
4. Though it's oil-free, the brightening property is not that friendly for people with oily skin cause when the skin starts to oil up, the shine is amplified.

Overall, I'd score it a  4 over 5. I like that it's oil-free and contains SPF. Also, the yellow undertone is super friendly for my tan. However, it's till not the perfect fit for my combination skin. For now, it works so whenever I see shine, I blot right away. I suggest that you apply this using a synthetic kabuki brush (really dense brushes) or Beauty Blender to avoid streaking and unevenness. Personally, I like applying this with my Real Techniques Face Expert Brush.

Do you use liquid foundation daily? If so, what brand do you use? Have you tried this one from Benefit?
