Quick Updates + Recent Makeup Haul

How's everyone? I hope you and your families are safe. It's just really heartbreaking to see the damage of the recent monsoon rains. :( Yesterday, I'm lucky to be in a safe and dry place but I also feel helpless. I wanna go out and help pack relief goods in Ateneo but I don't know how to get there. :( I hope the sun will appear soon and the floods will subside immediately.

In other news, I'm also here to blog about my recent makeup haul. I'm trying to avoid makeup shopping cause of my huge haul from my recent trip, as well as to save for better things (i.e makeup school, client makeup and tools). I have to say, I've been a good girl for the past months cause I didn't splurge that much. If there's one splurge I did, it's a good investment. Anyway, here are the things I acquired recently.
We all know how amazing NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk is, but for some reason, I can't get a hold of it. Finally, I found something very similar. I can't really say it's a dupe cause i don't have Milk but I compared this to my NYX Jumbo pencil in Black Bean and the texture is almost the same. This is the perfect base if you want to use vibrant colors for your eyes.
L.A. Colors Jumbo Eye Pencil in Sea Shells

My good friend who had a trip to the USA gave me this as pasalubong. I knooooow! It's so pretty! The colors are lovely and very pigmented. I already tried this once and I'm loving it.
Sephora Moonshadow Baked Palette In the Heat

Aaaaand the recently launched Charm Retractable Flat Top Brush. I have been meaning to buy a Charm Flat top brush but I want something more portable and this is the perfect answer to what I wanted.

Finally, my own lighted mirror! I opted for this one cause I currently can't afford a lighted traincase. Since I already have client bookings and future gigs, this will be very helpful. I actually got this at a lower price compared to other online sellers. Thanks again Ms. Anne for the very smooth transaction. Just PM me if you want to get her number. ;) I used this in my recent gig and the timing was just perfect cause the makeup room for the models was not well lighted.

That ends my makeup haul. Now you have a picture of what products I'll be reviewing next. Truthfully, the list is still long.

Oh! Watch out for my upcoming posts cause I have a little surprise for everyone. Can't wait to tell you what it is!

For those who can't help pack relief goods, this might be another way for you to reach out.
